The seal certifies insurance products through a series of parameters: promoting social and environmental sustainability and transparency.

These products are presented by insurance companies that must be registered at the observatory. This registry is carried out based on an assessment of different criteria focusing on the ethical and supportive dimension of the organization.

The commercialization of the product must also be carried out through managers (brokers and brokerages) that have registered and have been assessed by the observatory under these criteria.

Criteria assessed by the registry of insurance and commercialization companies

  • Assessment of CSR (yes/no, external or self-declared with a commitment to externalise it)
  • Ethical investment (Ethical finances and/or SRI) product only
  • Ethics committee (yes/no) or entity engaged in supportive social economy
  • Ethical banking user (yes/no, % on treasury / budget)

  • Promotion of social sustainability
  • Transparency
  • Promoting environmental sustainability only property insurance
  • Level of involvement in project
